Join us for nature fun indoors! We will be navigating a fun “camp” while learning about cultivating a growth mindset, increasing communication and working on problem solving.

We will incorporate nature while navigating safety, perspective taking, social emotional wellness in small group activities.

Groups and activities will be curated for each individual. We will adapt to the best of our ability.

We look forward to incorporating nature and social skills development.

What to expect:

-Each topic to be adapted based on each unique learner.

The workshops are curated to meet the needs of the Trail Life goals. Please note to consult with the organizer of the event for detailed descriptions of each workshop taking place. All workshops are hands on activities built to steward through resilience and grace.

Woods Tools Workshop: Each Trailman will create a pack saw. Through this process individuals will learn about the use and care of pack saw.

Fire: Each Trailman will learn primitive fire techniques as well as modern measures. Individuals will participate in understanding the stewardship of fire and meal preparation.

Orienteering and Navigation: Each Trailman will navigate a variety of situations to experience Orienteering and Navigation.

All workshops are per Trailman.

Photography is more than a picture. It is a form of communication and self expression. While this class will teach the fundamentals of photography it will also enrich skills such as perspective taking, story telling and collaboration.

No experience necessary.

Limited Equipment available for use.

While we do not require you to have a digital SLR- a device that can capture photographs must be fully charged.
