Dive into the world of fire spoons!
While the exact origin is unknown, this primitive technique will lead you into a world of experiencing craftsmanship in a unique way.
Fire spoons are created with coals to hollow out the initial shape with a controlled burn. Then as the experience continues the crafter will learn to use whittling techniques to sculpt the shape of the spoon.
While there is no experience necessary, we do ask that you come with an inquiring mind and growth mindset.
Join us for the Fire Spoon Workshop December 31st and make your own spoon using fire and steel!
This class will be held at Papago Park from 9am-1pm
